Good Governance and Social Accountability Tools
What you can expect
Good governance lies at the heart of what affects most citizens on a daily basis – access to health care, housing, roads, education and job opportunities. Yet around the world many citizens feel powerless to influence government decisions let alone effect change. Social accountability refers to the range of approaches that enable citizens to work with governments in a meaningful, productive and effective way. This one-week course focuses on developing the knowledge and skills you need to strengthen citizen involvement in the oversight of government, and to improve accountability and practice at the local, regional and national levels.
