Coady Institute has over 60 years of experience in accompanying leaders who are creating economic and social change, including the award winning Indigenous Women in Community Leadership program.
Donations to Circle of Abundance – Amplifying Indigenous Women’s Leadership will help Coady in:
- Learning from its work with Indigenous Elders, Knowledge Keepers, scholars and community leaders to pivot in a direction that reflects current realities and recent history;
- Expanding Coady’s offerings of Indigenous women’s leadership programming across the country, for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit women leaders, both in their community as well as on-campus programs at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia;
- Developing online and in-community Indigenous leadership learning opportunities
- Connecting and creating knowledge exchanges for Indigenous women and communities globally; and
- Supporting the incubation of innovative Indigenous-led and Indigenous community-driven initiatives.

Building on Abundance in Indigenous Communities
ONLINE OFFERING By the end of the course, you will identify changes you want to see in your community or organization and create an engagement plan to begin putting your plan into practice.
Indigenous Women in Leadership-ONLINE
Online Offering. This seven-week course will provide you with opportunities to learn and explore the abundance of strengths and gifts that live within you and your community. This course reflects Indigenous teachings, relational leadership models, and approaches. Principles and tools are also shared.
Indigenous Women in Community Leadership
This program is grounded in relational practices and mentorship opportunities that will build upon your already trusted leadership capacities for community-led, community-driven development.
