Women Deliver Conference will take place June 3-6, 2019 in Vancouver, Canada.

The world’s largest conference on gender equality and the health, rights, and wellbeing of girls and women, Women Deliver, will take place in Vancouver, Canada in June 2019.

Coady graduate Musola Cathrine Kaseketi (Diploma in Development Leadership, 2018) will speak at Women Deliver 2019.

Eileen Alma (Director Women and Indigenous Programming) and Robin Neustaeter (Program Teaching Staff) will attend on behalf of Coady International Institute.

Coady graduate Musola Cathrine Kaseketi (Diploma in Development Leadership, 2018) is a disability rights advocate and the founder and executive director of Vilole Images Productions. She will speak at a session titled, The Power of Breaking Barriers: Systemic change, individual gain on Wednesday, June 5 at 10:30am PST.

Coady’s Eileen Alma, in partnership with Toronto Foundation, will participate in a session titled, Shifting the Power: A Vital Conversation About Equality and Redefining Philanthropy on Monday, June 3 (by invitation only).

Participants meet Canadian Prime Minsiter, Justin Trudeau (2018).

Coinciding with the conference, Canadian Council for International Co-operation (CCIC) will host CCIC Feminist Human Library: Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover featuring Coady graduate Anita Thapa (Global Change Leaders, 2018) on Sunday, June 2 at 5:30pm PST.

Other speakers include founder of the ‘me too’ movement Tarana Burke, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who visited the Coady and StFX campus in 2018.
