Andrea Curley

Indigenous Engagement Coordinator

Andrea is a graduate from Coady’s Indigenous Women in Community Leadership (IWCL, 2015) program and has completed Facilitate the Facilitator and The Community Based Health Assessment certifications through Coady. In 2017, she was invited to speak at the United Nations representing rural Indigenous women of Canada. Andrea joined in 2019 coordinating IWCL’s 10-year Alumni Gathering, and worked with The Center for Employment Innovation and temporarily as the Indigenous Student Advisor for St. Francis Xavier University. Andrea also proposed a staff Health and Wellness project to promote healthy relationships through coworker collaboration which is successfully running for its second year. She recently received her Masters of Adult Education in Administration and Policy at St. Francis University and is exploring communications certifications options. Andrea is from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, Haudenosaunee, Onondaga, Beaver Clan and a mother of two grown sons.
