A Critical commentary on the United Nations report on multinational corporations in world development

The UN report on multinational corporations examines the growth and extension of these institutions and the problems they pose to the governments of home and host countries, as if the latter had remained unchanged in the process. In this critique it is argued, on the contrary, that the emergence and worldwide diffusion of the multinational corporation phenomenon has substantial effects on the economic, social, political and cultural dimensions of the capitalist system itself, both at the world level, and also at the level of developed and underdeveloped societies.
