Global meat production has increased five-fold since 1950 and industrial animal agriculture, or factory farming, is the fastest growing method of meat production worldwide. The spread of factory farming can have disastrous effects. By supporting alternative animals products and production methods, consumers can help ensure that meat is made better for people, the environment, and the animals themselves.
