Help Coady Inspire Change!

Greetings from Coady Institute. 2022 was an exciting year which involved an important milestone – in May we surpassed 10,000 graduates since the founding of the Institution! These passionate social change leaders have returned to their communities and trained tens of thousands of additional change makers.

Building relationships and supporting community leaders locally, across the country, and around the globe remains central to the work that we do. Our programs and projects continue to create opportunities for deep conversations about the critical issues of our time and to share knowledge, tools, and approaches which help communities move forward and thrive. Our team continues to rise to the challenge of creating exceptional educational experiences for diverse groups of learners.

I don’t think there’s any way you would want to learn more about community development and programs that change lives better than at Coady. Coming to Coady has been very life changing, mind transforming about the things I used to think about.

Global Change Leaders 2022

All of us can agree on the importance of human connections and in 2022, we began welcoming vibrant participants to campus. Our team also resumed some international travel to support community-focused activities. We are eagerly anticipating where we are heading in 2023.

It is with excitement that I share that our flagship Diploma in Development Leadership will be running again in the spring with a renewed format and engaging curriculum. It is encouraging to see that we have received hundreds of applications from around the world. In addition, we will continue to offer a wide range of online courses, as well as, specialized in-person opportunities for women, youth, and Indigenous leaders. These are initiatives that prioritize the knowledge and experiences of the learners who attend and adhere to values and principles in line with our vision and commitment to “a full and abundant life for all.”

Coady’s programs cannot happen without supporters like you. You are an essential element of the Coady community, and you are part of the positive change we seek for generations to come.

Please consider supporting, or renewing your support to, Coady Institute so we may continue this learning journey together. We welcome an opportunity to talk more about our work with you at any time.

To donate please send a cheque designated to “Coady Institute” care of Lynn O’Donnell, Development Officer to 4780 Tompkins Lane BOX 5000 Antigonish, NS B2G 2W5 or donate online at https://coady.stfx.ca/support/

Eileen Alma
Interim Executive Director, Coady Institute

As women leaders we forget how valuable we are to our communities and that was something that resonated and it does every single day since graduation. All of our projects were different but really for me it was seeing that growth and that change in ourselves. Looking back, that is what it was, we are ceremony and for me that really empowered my leadership. I have a purpose to be here as a leader.
