Christian Commission for Development (CCDB) in Bangladesh

CCDB will strengthen local women’s organizations to lead community action on climate change, livelihoods, and political inclusion through training, advocacy, and leadership development. Through the Engage project, it will pilot gender responsive budgeting (GRB) and integrate asset-based community development (ABCD) into its poverty reduction and climate programs to expand women’s influence with local governments.

Centre Haïtien du Leadership et de l’Excellence (CLE) in Haiti

CLE will launch Angaje, a blended learning and place-based entrepreneurship program that equips young women social entrepreneurs with leadership and business skills, seed grants, and flexible funding. Through Engage, CLE will embed feminist leadership and asset-based approaches into its model while strengthening Haiti’s social entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Tanzania Gender Networking Programme (TGNP)

TGNP will empower women to advance gender-equitable change by establishing women-led knowledge centres focused on Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) and civic leadership. Through Engage, TGNP will integrate asset-based community development (ABCD), pilot livelihoods training, and expand its advocacy capacity to influence local and national budget decision-making.

Organization for Women in Self Employment (WISE) in Ethiopia

WISE will train women leaders nationally and locally in empowerment, enterprise development, and asset-based approaches while launching new savings and credit cooperatives (SACCOS) in Addis Ababa. Through Engage, WISE will strengthen advocacy with local government, upgrade its IT infrastructure, and expand digital literacy to support women entrepreneurs’ participation in the online economy.

Self-Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) in India

SEWA’s Manager School (SMS) will deliver community-based leadership training focused on the future of work in the informal sector while innovating its curriculum and research on recovery from societal crises. Through Engage, SEWA will also establish a climate school to equip grassroots women with strategies for climate adaptation, mitigation, and resilience.
