Education Portfolio

In addition to courses that are currently open for registration, Coady maintains a portfolio of established courses that have been delivered successfully with partners in Canada and around the world.

These courses reflect Coady’s six-decade experience and may be offered again based on partnership opportunities, regional demand, and cohort readiness. Our annual course scheduling cycles are informed by partner collaboration, cohort development, and Coady’s commitment to high‑quality practitioner focused, adult education.

How Our Courses Are Delivered

Many courses in the portfolio are activated through collaboration with partner organizations and networks, ensuring strong peer learning, contextual relevance, and meaningful impact for participants.

Coady courses are offered on-campus at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada; off-campus in communities globally; or online.

St. Francis Xavier University and Coady Institute stand on the lands of Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded home of the Mi’kmaw. We express our deep gratitude and appreciation to the generations of Mi’kmaw who, since time immemorial, have loved and stewarded these lands and the beings who call them home. Colonization is not just history; it exists in the present tense. While we strive to decolonize ourselves and our University, we know there is still much for us to learn.

We are committed to doing the hard work of self-reflection and to repairing relationships with the Mi’kmaw on whose lands we reside, including embracing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada Calls to Action and embodying their spirit in our plans to move forward with our University.
