Established in 2000, the Katherine Fleming International Development Award honours the life and legacy of Katherine (Katie) Fleming, a St. Francis Xavier University graduate who dedicated her career to advancing the well-being and rights of children in Africa.
For more than 25 years, the award has supported African women leaders to strengthen their leadership, learn with others, and advance positive change in their organizations and communities.
