We are pleased to begin the new year by welcoming Veronica Torres and Sarika Sinha as Program Teaching Staff for Coady Institute’s International Centre for Women’s Leadership.
Veronica Torres has more than 24 years of experience across 40 countries working on programmes for women, girls, and unemployed youth in both humanitarian and development settings. She is recognised for combining engagement and dialogue promotion of gender equality, education, economic, and sexual and reproductive health programming and evaluations. Veronica holds a Master of Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University.

Sarika Sinha is a part of the autonomous women’s movement in India and was most recently one of the directors of ActionAid International in addition to being a lead on women’s rights. She has a diverse experience of working across India and globally with the most marginalized communities. She has played a key role in drafting several policies across India, and has been instrumental in rolling out primary health care workers and a one-stop crisis centre in the country. Sarika is a Chevening scholar and holds a Master of Science in Gender, Development, and Globalisation from the London School of Economics.
