We are pleased to welcome 95 community leaders from around the globe for the first three in a series of online certificate programs.
The series launched in late-September with 33 participants in 10 countries joining the Asset-Based and Citizen-Led Development (ABCD) online program. Participants in this course are working to identify and build upon strengths and assets in their organizations and communities to drive their own local development.
Thirty-one participants in 12 countries recently began their journey in the new Future of Work and Workers online program which centres on the opportunities and challenges related to work trends in areas such as globalization, urbanization, changing demographics, climate change, automation, the sharing economy, and more.
The Women’s Leadership for Community Development certificate started this week with 31 participants in 16 countries who will spend the next seven weeks recognizing and celebrating women’s strengths and gifts, assessing leadership models and approaches, exploring feminist movement building in solidarity with others, and sharing of tools and frameworks that prioritize equity and inclusion.
Participants in these three certificates are joining us from: Antigua & Barbuda, Australia, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Canada, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, India, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Mali, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Uganda, United States of America, and Zimbabwe.
We extend our warmest welcome to these incredible local community leaders as they begin their journey with us.
