UN SDGs and Affordable Housing
With funding from Employment and Social Development Canada, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Affordable Housing in Nova Scotia initiative will connect affordable housing organizations through a series of county meetings to learn more about the SDGs that relate to housing.

We support local housing organizations through facilitation, training, guidance and support as well as linking organizations with resources and information.

National Housing Day with Community First: Guysborough County Housing Association
November 22 is National Housing Day in Canada – a day that recognizes the importance of safe and affordable housing for all, and the need for collaborative solutions to housing insecurity.
New Provincial Housing Association Forms in Nova Scotia
Two days of meetings amongst non-profit housing providers and the housing groups, networks, and coalitions who support their work has culminated in the formation of a new provincial association aimed to strengthen the community housing sector in Nova Scotia.
