For many years, we have supported the design and delivery of education programs at St. Francis Xavier University and Coady Institute. Programs that we have recently supported include:
DEVS 405: Community-Based Development: Strategies and Practice
The seminar explores and evaluates strategies, practices and techniques used to strengthen people’s capacity to build sustainable livelihoods, and examines the role of different agencies in stimulating development at the community level.
Facilitation and Training Approaches for Community-led Change
This certificate course is designed for people who do a significant amount of facilitation in their work and want to explore new theories, principles, and practices in participatory adult education and training approaches.
Learning Organizations and Change
This certificate is designed for development practitioners who are responsible for the continued excellence and relevance of their organizations. Presidents, founders, executive directors, program/project managers, directors, coordinators, team leaders, and internal change agents with other titles have found this course supportive in building collaborative learning cultures to better pursue their organizations’ missions.
