Engage Partner CLE Prepares for Second Cohort of Social Enterprise Fellowship for Women in Haiti
Twenty-five women graduated from the first cohort of the Centre Haitien du Leadership et de l’Excellence (CLE)‘s Fanm Angaje in 2022. After the success of the program’s initial offering, the centre is now preparing for a new cohort of Haitian women in social enterprise.
Coady Partner to Launch Climate Schools through Engage Project
Coady Institute partner Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) of India is examining how climate shocks are affecting poor women who work in the informal sector and offering educational programming to prepare for and mitigate risks.
IWW Spotlight: Tsigie Haile
Tsigie Haile established Women in Self Employment (WISE) in 1993, which provides a space for women’s empowerment in Ethiopia. The organization has been working with low-income, self-employed women and girls in their efforts to achieve self-reliance and improve the quality of their lives.
