Katherine Fleming Women Leaders
What began as an individual award has expanded to reach more women through the Katherine Fleming Women’s Leadership Course for African Women Leaders.
Together, these women are part of a growing network of 70 plus leaders working across Africa.
Individual Award Recipients
From 2000 to 2024, 25 women from 13 African countries received the Katherine Fleming International Development Award and participated in a Coady Institute course.
Their leadership spans women’s economic empowerment, education, health, child and youth well-being, human rights, peace and security, and gender equality.
