Tatiana Mosquera Angulo

Tatiana Mosquera Angulo is the Director of the Strengthen Capabilities Center, Transforma, at Fundación Ideas para la Paz (FIP), a Colombian think and do tank (www.ideaspaz.org). She accompanies and supports the FIP team in the design of educational experiences and facilitation of dialogue processes and faces methodological challenges in an innovative way.

Tatiana has 20 years of experience in education, peacebuilding, dialogue, and direct work with stakeholders. She has also been involved in numerous projects related to strengthening capacity and research, especially in social and community projects within fragile contexts in Colombia and Latin America.

Her academic journey is a testament to her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Tatiana holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and anthropology from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. She further honed her skills with a specialist degree in regional development management from the same university and a master’s degree in Collaborative-Dialogic Practice.

St. Francis Xavier University and Coady Institute stand on the lands of Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded home of the Mi’kmaw. We express our deep gratitude and appreciation to the generations of Mi’kmaw who, since time immemorial, have loved and stewarded these lands and the beings who call them home. Colonization is not just history; it exists in the present tense. While we strive to decolonize ourselves and our University, we know there is still much for us to learn.

We are committed to doing the hard work of self-reflection and to repairing relationships with the Mi’kmaw on whose lands we reside, including embracing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada Calls to Action and embodying their spirit in our plans to move forward with our University.
