This report presents the history of Israel's extensive worker co-op system, as well as problems the system has faced which could help the developers of co-ops in Canada avoid some of the pitfalls experienced in Israel. Issues discussed include worker ownership, relationship between organized labour and worker co-ops, financing and hired labour.
