Co-operatives and social democracy: elements of the Norwegian case

This report considers the erosion of the housing co-op system in Norway as the privatisation of the housing sector grows. Since the shift cannot be simply explained through monetary change, there is an analysis of the earlier successes and their link to the socio-economic climate in Norway. Solutions to the problems of housing and other co-operatives are provided.
