This report examines how government, official and NGO initiatives address the development and poverty problems in Uganda. Case studies of the Uganda Women's Finance and Credit Trust, West Acholi Cooperative Union, Busoga Multi-Sector Rural Development Programme, and the Mityana Programme, are presented and analysed.
