Highlights and recommendations of the second virtual meeting of the CGAP Working Group on Impact Assessment Methodologies, April 14-28, 1998

This paper describes the second virtual meeting of members of the CGAP Working Group on Impact Assessment Methodologies, and includes a summary of the participants' conclusions. This meeting moved towards the development of guidelines for middle range impact studies--credible, lower-cost studies that can be used as management tools by practitioners while also providing evidence of accountability.
