Sister to Sister Mentorship Program begins for 2021
The Nobel Women’s Initiative and Coady International Institute are excited to welcome 15 emerging women leaders to our nine-week advocacy and communications program for young women activists. Together, our sisters from Mexico, Iraq, Liberia, Palestine, Guatemala, Honduras, Nigeria, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt and Myanmar/Burma will build a community of care and support; strengthen their capacities and skills, and co-create a new vision for inclusive feminist peacebuilding and women’s rights advocacy.
Calling all Change Leaders
Coady Institute seeking local partners to support bringing participants back to Antigonish. For more than 61 years, the Antigonish community has welcomed Coady Institute participants from around the world creating a truly international experience enriching local culture, economy, and community spirit. Today, Coady Institute is launching the Coady Change Leader campaign – a partnership with community members to provide scholarships for people to attend Coady leadership education programs.
Webinar: Covid 19 from an Intersectional Gendered Perspective – Looking Beyond the Obvious
April 5, 9:00am ADT | This webinar proposes to delve into the impact of Covid-19 on the gendered relations and look beyond the obvious. It aims to not only delve directly into the loss of jobs and earnings, but also indirectly in terms of food insecurity, depletion of savings and assets, social isolation, and mobility loss.
