Impact X: A Summit on Entrepreneurship & Social Change is Atlantic Canada’s first student pitch conference uniting social impact and entrepreneurship offering $12,000 in prizes. University and high school students from across the Maritimes and Ontario come together to learn from leading entrepreneurs, community organizations, and peer institutions.
The summit was inspired by the ever-growing synergies developing in the StFX entrepreneurship ecosystem and StFX’s long-standing history and commitment to social change through the work of the Coady Institute and our pioneering experiential learning-based programs.
Partners include the DiscoverBox , the Schwartz School of Business -Entrepreneurship Program, the Bachelor of Education – Business Concentration, the StFX Advancement Department and StFX’s committed alumni network and student societies.

StFX Students Selected for Feminist Leadership Workshop in Nepal
StFX students Maria Young and Fiona Boyd have been selected to travel to Nepal this August through Coady Institute’s Samaan Aawaaj (Equal Voice) project. They will join feminist leaders from across the Indo-Pacific region for a week of learning, dialogue, and cross-cultural exchange on leadership and social change.
