Zambia is concerned with achieving increases in agricultural production. Co-operative organization is considered to be the best method of combining small farms into larger units. In this way, various benefits can be achieved and productivity raised through the use of modern agricultural techniques. Zambia has taken stock of the co-operative movement and is attempting to make it more efficient.
