Towards a strategy for the rural poor in sub-Saharan Africa

This paper considers the current economic vulnerability of sub-Saharan Africa and the role rural development can play in over- coming this problem. Strategies and problems they face are examined as the authors suggest an analytical approach to the elaboration of strategy indifferent national and local contexts.
