The National Savings and Credit Development (SA/CRED) Project has a threefold purpose in sponsoring the design, implementation and dissemination of this study: Firstly, the Project has a mandate to identify best practices in the micro-finance sector in Nepal. Secondly, the Project is committed to increasing the number and strengthening the skills of women professionals in the micro-finance sector. Thirdly, the Project has a mandate to disseminate its findings to the micro-finance community in Nepal and further afield.
