ENGAGE! One Year In.
ENGAGE! Women’s Empowerment and Active Citizenship is a five-year initiative co-designed by Coady Institute and five partner-organizations in Ethiopia, India, Tanzania, Bangladesh, and Haiti. The project’s goal is to advance gender equality and poverty reduction by enhancing women’s capacity to participate in the social and economic life of their communities.

For more than 61 years, the Antigonish community has welcomed Coady Institute participants from around the world creating a truly international experience enriching local culture, economy, and community spirit. Today, Coady Institute is launching the Coady Change Leader campaign – a partnership with community members to provide scholarships for people to attend Coady leadership education programs.

Celebrity-Backed Initiative Amplifying Indigenous Women Leaders Reaches $1M Goal
Karri-Lynn Paul, Indigenous Program Teaching Staff, announced in an online event November 19 that the Circle of Abundance – Amplifying Indigenous Women’s Leadership initiative has reached its one-million-dollar fundraising goal.
Coady Institute Receives $236,000 toward Farmer-Led Initiative in India and Kenya
Coady Institute is one of nine Canadian organizations to receive funding toward advancing gender equality from the Fund for Innovation and Transformation (FIT). The Institute will receive $236,000 over 15 months for Farmer-led Tools, Dashboard Development and the Future of Farming.
