All too often, through poverty, perversion, spite, ignorance or superstition, adults shatter the hopes and dreams of young females by denying them the right to an education, entering them into forced labour, subjecting them to mutilation, sexual abuse and other injustices. This film explores the lives of girls in different cultures and how much of their childhood has been stolen from them.
