In Africa women produce as much as 80% of the food, yet when strategies to achieve food security are discussed at the highest levels, women's roles, contributions and needs are often ignored. This video explores the issues and challenges that affect African women's efforts to feed their families. It helps the viewer develop an understanding of the competing demands on women's time and the importance of incorporating them into community and national decision making related to food security strategies.
