Capturing unpredictable and intangible change: Evaluating an asset-based community development (ABCD) approach in Ethiopia

This paper reflects on the use of tools to monitor and evaluate the progress of community groups and NGOs applying an asset-based approach to community development (ABCD) in Ethiopia.  The authors consider a number of participatory tools used to evaluate community development initiatives.  The application of these tools is highlighted and the strength of combining them to address identified challenges.
