Description

New Guinea, the second largest island on earth, is home to a thousand distinct people and languages. Since annexation by Indonesia in 1963, it has been off limits to journalists. This film, made clandestinely, is about the Moi who are engaged in a desperate struggle to halt the destruction of their homeland by international logging companies. This film carries their message of protest to the outside world, and portrays the unique cultures, landscapes, and wildlife of the country.
