This report focuses on different types of guarantee funds, to serve NGOs which are, or are considering, operating small, decentralized guarantee schemes. The findings have been drawn largely from an ILO project, which aimed at the empowerment of six NGOs in managing guarantee funds and facilitating access to bank credit for their members / clients.
