How to build self-help groups for successful banking with the poor: an urban model

The purpose of this report is to draw attention to the key role of self help groups and NGOs in providing better access to credit for the poor in urban areas, and to provide these groups with practical guidelines and estimated costs for the formation and operation of self help credit management groups.
