Description

Set during the violent ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka, the documentary explores the life of human rights activist Dr. Rajani Thiranagama. Rajani, part of a generation of political activists of the 1960s and 1970s, was assassinated at the age of thirty-five. Fifteen years after her death, her sister Nirmala, a former Tamil militant and political prisoner, decides to break her silence about Rajani's life and her slaying. National Film Board (NFB).
