Prairie populists and the idea of cooperation, 1910-1945

This report examines the link between the development of co-operatives and the populist political organizations in Saskatchewan. An analysis of the experiences of the prairie populists is followed by a suggestion of several lessons which might be drawn from them by those who feel that co-ops and democracy should imply each other in the future.
