Relationships matter for supporting change in favour of poor people

This paper examines the relationships and behaviours exhibited by the staff in the United Kingdom's Department for International Development (DFID). It argues that donors need to invest more time in managing relationships and learn to change their behavior, both with their own colleagues and with those with whom they engage at global and local levels.
