Description
This film examines the growing divisions within the Catholic Church in razil, between the conservative hierarchy and the followers of Liberation Theology. At the heart of the dispute is the poor, landless Brazilians seeking reform, and the wealthy landowners and developers opposing them. The social, economic and political roots of similar struggles being waged throughout Central and South America is explored.
