Description

This documentary tells the story of three individuals who escaped persecution in their home countries based on their homosexuality to claim refugee status in the United States. These individuals - from Kenya, Brazil, and Pakistan - illustrate the universality of homosexuality and the intolerance and vulnerability faced by lesbians and gays in parts of the world. This film questions the kind of asylum the United States provides for them and what kind of freedom they have found.
