Understanding mountain poverty in the Hindu Kush-Himalayas: Regional report for Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan

This report attempts to identify, understand and record the specificity of mountain poverty. It present poverty profiles and trends and the findings show that poverty in the mountains is different from and generally greater than other geographic areas. The research analyzes the causes of poverty in the mountains and provides results for policy makers and development planners.
