Worker participation in company management in Chile: a historical experience

This paper examines the participation of workers in the management of state-owned companies in Chile during the years of the Allende government (1970-1973). It examines how representatives and leaders of the participatory organizational structure were democratically elected by workers at a national level, through the central trade union body.
